What’s that you, say? You didn’t know that the old order was gone? Well, technically, the carcass is still here – rotting away. But the flies have appeared in Tunis and Benghazi, in Athens and Madrid, and in Madison and Oakland. And, yes, at the very source of the stench on Wall Street.
The old economy DOES. NOT. WORK. ANYMORE. It just accrues interest and dividends for old and lifeless minds, while draining the creativity and energy and life out of anyone or anything that is tethered to the Machine.
It’s time to pull the plug. Time to bury the bones and water the seeds of cooperative economics, of fair trade, and a concept of ownership that is built upon a foundation of labor, first, foremost and always.
